New Meyerweb

Posted Feb 01, 2004 in Blogging.

CSS guru Eric Meyer has redesigned his personal website. The new version is visually attractive, with good use of whitespace and an easy-to-read font/size choice. I think it is much easier on the eye, and simpler to use. Eric promises the banner will change from time to time.

I also redesigned not long ago, still nobody noticed. I guess I have to spend more time talking about CSS and Web Standards (and using them, not like my code that does not complies) or being named Meyer or Zeldman or Jessey... :-)

Sorry, David. It has been almost two weeks since I visited your site and I hadn't noticed the changes. It reminds me a little bit of A List Apart's layout. I think if it was me, I'd go a bit wider with a slightly larger font. I like the banner arrangement.

I was kidding, Simon. Weblogs are... well, just weblogs. People write about what they please and I certainly respect that. Still, I joke about it.

I had a web site, two years ago (weblog too) that looked similar to what I have now. Before ALA existed on it's actual incarnation. I had ALA bookmarked, before I even knew they changed. Interesting on the slight look alike... still I believe mine looks better; fathers love.
