I have been encouraged by Doug Bowman, D. Keith Robinson, Caterina Fake, and Jon Hicks to:

  1. Grab the nearest book.
  2. Turn to page 23.
  3. Find the fifth sentence.
  4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.

I don't normally do these sorts of things, but for some reason I find it strangely compelling. The first one I grab, says just this:


Obviously, the result is terribly disappointing. I shall, therefore, grab the next nearest book, in the hope that it will pour forth something a little more interesting:

"Whether frustrated by the slow progress of standards or stylesheet technology inadequate to their needs, some companies have developed their own stylesheet languages."

    You are really starting to worry me....lmao...I think you need to find something to do..Oh by the way I just had that meeting today for 3 hours and everything went great. I got the job!!!

    Incidentally, the first book was "Mort", by Terry Pratchett. The second book was "Learning XML", by Erik T. Ray. "Mort" was the closest book, but "Learning XML" was nearby, because I was doing some work with XSLT.
