Just as in 2000, Florida is becoming the center of attention in the 2004 Presidential Election. Many people feel that Al Gore was robbed of the Presidency due to an “iffy” Florida result, and suspicious activity in the state looks set to spoil the democratic process again.
58,000 postal ballot papers have gone missing from Broward County. In the 2000, Al Gore won 67% of the vote in that county - the largest winning margin in any of the counties in Florida. Election officials are now trying their best to get replacments out, but they are being hampered by callers who are worried that their votes have been stolen.
