Da Vinci fuss

All this fuss about Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code is ludicrous. It is a clever, well-researched, and wonderfully enjoyable work of fiction. I'm very much looking forward to seeing the movie adaptation, which boasts a competent director and a stellar cast.

The irony of all this hullabaloo over the “blasphemy” and “disgraceful misrepresentation of the facts” is that I think The Bible is largely a work of fiction as well. I'm sure that there are plenty of factual events described in it, but most must surely be taken with a pinch of salt.

Haha I totally agree with you! I mean my own mother was like, arg dont watch it its blasphemous. I was like "geez. its a work of fiction" I think people just like to make a scene over everything, as well as the fact that the book/movie is very popular lol, they wouldnt do that if it wasnt you know.

You have hit the nail on the head, Shaza. Nobody would be complaining if the book hadn't been so popular.

By the way, I love the artwork on your website.

What a kerfuffle! People don't realise that the New Testament is a work of faith not of history. Biblical scholars agree that the 4 canonical gospels contradict each other. If Dan Brown adds to this contradiction, so what! Those who take offense should not go and see the film or read the book. No one is asking them to remove their blinkers.

I would like to state that I saw the movie and found it very good.

I would recommend to see in an instance.
