I hate mushrooms

Posted Nov 21, 2006 in Personal.

I love eating stuff like Shepherd's Pies and buy cheap generic cialis no prescription Lasagne, even if they can't make either of them properly in this country. One problem I have found is that it is really difficult to find them in the freezer section of the grocery store unless they contain mushrooms in them (preparing such dishes by hand is quite beyond my culinary skills). In fact, it is nigh on impossible to find anything that isn't chock full of mushrooms these days.

I absolutely hate mushrooms. I simply cannot stand them. In addition to looking disgusting, they have a simply revolting squeaky texture when you eat them. The thought of eating them makes me feel sick. And yet they are everywhere, and in everything. Almost everyone I've spoken to cannot understand why I don't like them, and they seem convinced that if I keep trying them, sooner or later I will grow to like them.

It is more likely that they will grow on me before I grow to like them. I'll never like them. In fact, the only mushrooms I'll ever be able to live with are the toadstools that the Smurfs lived in.

Mushrooms aren't horrible unless you eat an abundance of lexapro with no prescription them at one time or if they are cut in huge chunks.

Non cooked mushrooms are HORRIBLE but if you cook them so they are a soft and mushy, they arent that bad :)

Dude, mushrooms are a type of FUNGUS. It is like eating stuff that grew between your toes or something. Gross.

I used not to discount canadian deltasone like mushrooms, but my wife love them and yes, I tried and now I love them. Very nice with pasta and other meals.

Simon, think yogurt, liver, cow tongue, lamb! just any type of meat, etc... We eat a lot of things that could be considered disgusting. And no, eating mushrooms is not "like eating stuff that grew between your toes or something." Funny guy... :)

I would definitely classify myself as a carnivore. Most would also call me a philistine because I prefer a cheeseburger to a steak. But you wouldn't catch me anywhere NEAR things like liver or offal. My diet consists of meat, carbs, and sugar. Sometimes you might find the odd vegetable in there, but only if it is fried in grease or drowned in gravy.
