Brought into focus

I've had quite a busy weekend, so I haven't been able to update this web log as regularly as I would normally have liked to. I hope to resume normal service tomorrow. I start college on October 7th and my wife and I have been giving serious thought to the miles I'll be covering everyday. My normal car is an tired, old Ford Taurus station wagon, which gets less than 20 miles for every gallon of the rather expensive, high-octane fuel it insists on drinking. It was doubtful that the poor barge would have withstood the pounding of a daily trip to Allentown and back, totalling 134 miles. With that in mind, we bought a new car that should be able to do double the miles for the same money. It will also be a better vehicle for my stepdaughter as she learns to drive.
