Closed again?

Allentown Business School is closed today because of the weather. Freezing rain, caused when the upper atmosphere is too warm to support snow, is causing problems on the roads in the Allentown area. Plenty of accidents have been reported on the local radio and television stations, with cars ploughing into each other and people slipping over on the icy surfaces. The closing of the school is causing an entirely different pile-up, unfortunately. Last week, I missed English, Introduction to Computer Concepts and Basic Web Authoring because of heavy snow and I am missing the same classes today. The class is a bit behind where it should be in all three of these subjects, and today's closing is going to make it very difficult to complete the courses before the end of the term next week. In Basic Web Authoring, I am supposed to be taking a test on HTML Frames and Forms, before preparing for the final exercise. It is possible that the term could be extended to make up the day. I have no idea if this will happen or not. Some fellow students have expressed a preference for coming in on one of the two Saturdays and I think I would favor this option. Whatever happens, I am learning to ignore the suggestion given to me in orientation that the school hardly ever closes for weather reasons - That turned out to be far from the truth.
