School's out

Friday was the last day of my first quarter at Allentown Business School. Although I have not been sent official confirmation of my grades, I am certain that I have comfortably made an A in all of the five classes. The next quarter will include classes in the use of Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Microsoft Office. Special attention will be given to Microsoft Access and I will also be learning how to program in BASIC, a language I have some familiarity with when I dabbled with it in the early 1980s. Learning BASIC is intended as a prelude to learning JavaScript, which I am looking forward to doing in the third quarter. Learning Microsoft Access is something I am particularly excited about. I have been working on this web site for several months and it looks pretty good, but it is still only a static site. Knowledge of Microsoft Access (which is intended as a primer for learning Structured Query Language and Oracle) will give me insights into how I should go about creating a dynamic site.
