Somewhat belatedly, I have made the individuals on my "out there" list XFN friendly. For some reason, I found it very difficult to classify everyone. Perhaps it is because I am publicly stating how I regard people, irrespective of how they regard me.
At some point in the near future, I will use CSS to provide visual cues of those relationships. My structural redesign hasn't extended into the visual realm because I like my existing layout, but XFN may require a little bit of visual tweaking.
Update: Since it is called the XHTML Friends Network, I have decided to only change the
head element to include the XFN profile on pages that are served as XHTML. Does anyone think I should add the profile to the HTML-served pages too?
