Bake-Free Cookies


  • 2 cups of white sugar
  • ½ cup of margarine
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 3 cups of quick-cooking oats
  • ½ cup of smooth peanut butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract


Lay out some sheets of wax paper. Bring the sugar, margarine, milk, cocoa and salt to a rapid boil in a saucepan for 1 minute. Add the quick-cooking oats, peanut butter and vanilla extract, and mix well. Take off the saucepan off the hear and quickly drop heaped teaspoonfuls of the mixture onto the waxed paper. Allow to cool.
